Hello, I'm Matt Hallas. I'm 24.
Following my music degree at Royal Hollway College, University of London, I worked for a year as resident musician at Heathfield St Mary's School at Ascot. I'm presently looking for a permanent job. I can't be bothered to write my own web page, so my Dad has written this.
I play the piano, soprano and tenor saxophone and occasionally clarinet. At Heathfield I did some individual tuition in woodwind for girls at the school. The picture, right, is of me playing at my brother's wedding with my girlfriend, Laurie page turning. My brother, Tim, is using my services as rehearsal pianist for musical productions at the Queen Mother Theatre.
My hobbies are watching too much television and playing computer games. During my time at Royal Holloway I was president of the Savoy Opera Society at College and took part in a number of productions of Gilbert & Sullivan operettas . During the long vacation before my final year I was Musical Director for the Drama Society's production of A Midsummer Nights Dream at the Edinburgh Fringe- [picture Matt as Private Willis in Iolanthe].
